4x4 Off road driving is not the most exciting of activities, but if you want to learn the skill of driving up hills through streams etc this is a good place to start.  Normally  there will be 3 to 4 of you in a 4 x 4 vehicle with a qualified instructor.  You will then take it in turns to drive as you are guided round a well designed course.  At some points you will find your butt clenching, especially as you steer in the opposite way to how you think you should  be doing it.
